Do you like YAKITORI ?
In Fukuoka, it is one of the most popular food with beer. Grilled chicken, pork, beef, vegetables and so on. (YAKI means grilled, TORI means chicken)
We can eat similar food in many Asian towns, for example SATE in Indonesia, GAI YANG in Thailand.

We, Fukuoka people love RAMEN, hot noodle with pork soup.

SHIBARAKU means "long time no see" or "for a while". In this case, Ramen shop's name.

Be careful, do not drink KUUSU (vintage shochu) toooo much....

Sukugarasu is tiny fish, Goya is bitter gourd.

Very special, gorgeous than usual. Unagi is eel. Grilled eel and egg, fish egg with spice (pink), dried laver and steamed rice. We can eat it with soup sometimes. Today's eel was very rich, tasty.
Of course, the price was also more gorgeous than usual.
Eel has vitamine!

My office exists in this area.
This is a typical lunch menu in Hakata.
Hot noodle (SOBA) with deeply fried fish paste and small chicken steamed rice, miso-soup.
