Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival @ Fukuoka

Yamakasa (Yamagasa) has been held here in old Hakata area in Fukuoka city during July 1 to 15 in every year. Final running race is early morining in July 15.
This is decorated festival shrine.

Gallery Artlier has moved into B1 fl. from B2 fl. in HAKATA RIVERAIN BLD., 'cause of a department store Izutsuya's renewal.
Since June to September, the Gallery Artlier stays in this floor as smaller space, then will move again into B2 with larger space. (real?)

My boss Yamano suddenly quit the job of director of this gallery, then I have been the director since June 1st, 2007.

Reisen-sou 1st anniversary

An old apartment house [Reisen-sou] has revived as a kind of art complex building in Hakata, traditional district of Fukuoka city.
Yesterday, in April 29, the 1st anniversary event was held.
